Ford Mustang GT 500 ”Eleanor” -67
Eleanor Mustang har blivit en av världens mest eftertraktade filmbilar – och detta exemplar sägs vara äkta vara.
Filmen ”Gone in 60 seconds” med Eleanor, Nicolas Cage och Angelina Jolie blev en riktig biosuccé i början av 2000-talet. Nicolas Cage spelar pensionerade biltjuven Randall ”Memphis” Raines som tvingas stjäla ett antal ovanliga lyx- och sportbilar för att hjälpa sin lillebror. Den allra ovanligaste bilen är ”enhörningen” – ”Eleanor Mustang”.
Grunden till Eleanor är en Ford Mustang från 1967. Bilen har en GT500-inspirerad ombyggnad och specialhjul, extra lampor och lackering i Pepper Grey Metallic. Interiören är också speciell med träratt, aluminiumpedaler och en speciell växellåda med en explosiv ”Go Baby Go”-knapp. När knappen trycks in aktiveras ett lustgassystem som ger ytterligare ett par hundra hästkrafter.
Redan innan knappen aktiverats finns det pulver under locket. Under den gråa huven sitter en Roush Performance byggd V8 på 500+ hk med Edelbrock -insug och aluminiumtoppar.
Avgaserna blir till musik när de släpps ut genom ett rostfritt system. Den här bilen gillar att köras!

The Eleanor Mustang has become one of the world’s most sought-after movie cars — and this particular example is said to be the real deal.
The film ”Gone in 60 Seconds”, featuring Eleanor, Nicolas Cage, and Angelina Jolie, became a major box office success in the early 2000s. Nicolas Cage plays retired car thief Randall “Memphis” Raines, who is forced to steal a number of rare luxury and sports cars to help save his younger brother. The rarest car of them all is the ”unicorn” — the Eleanor Mustang.
The foundation of Eleanor is a 1967 Ford Mustang. The car was modified with a GT500-inspired body kit, special wheels, additional driving lights, and finished in the iconic Pepper Grey Metallic paint. The interior is also unique, featuring a wooden steering wheel, aluminum pedals, and a custom gearshift equipped with the explosive ”Go Baby Go” button. When pressed, the button activates a nitrous oxide system, instantly boosting the car’s power by several hundred horsepower.
Even without the button activated, there’s plenty of muscle under the hood. Beneath the grey bonnet sits a Roush Performance-built V8 delivering over 500 horsepower, equipped with an Edelbrock intake and aluminum heads.
The exhaust note turns into pure music as it exits through a stainless steel exhaust system.
